Numbness

Blistering, festering it rolls down

Shuddering, stuttering it tolls

Rumbling, tumbling it blows

Seeing the grabbing, tasking my body in a casket

The numb, drum of the tired and poor

Falling, crawling across the floor

Cascading, facade is fading of what we were

  1. Whoa – ground still moving after reading this. Not just a fun word play – a game creating movement – but stunning at the end, thoughts to ponder. Great read
